How often do you recommend I come to the gym?
In general, if you’re just starting up after a long lay-off, we recommend coming three days/week for your first couple weeks. and do not go all out. You need to be able to recover between workouts. Gradually build to four, then five days a week and increase the intensity. Once you’re up to five days per week, we recommend building in two recovery days per week.
This will change based on your training goals. Our phone app enables following and tracking your workout program and recording any modifications you make.
No matter what you are training for you need to make sure you give yourself time to recover. Recovery is a key to training optimally.
I’m not in very good shape… can I do this?
Yes you can. Whether you are young at heart, or have just completed your 50th marathon, or are recovering from injury or healing a broken heart, whether walking the dog is the only exercise you’ve had in years, or you’re someone training for the Iditarod…We will help you achieve your fitness goals.
With us, your training sessions will be scaled to your capabilities. By adhering to our programming that is included in membership, we are confident you will notice improvements over time.
What will my first time in your gym be like?

Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?
Our CrossFit memberships are competitively priced. Our Barbell Club is higher priced higher than the large corporate gyms. If you become a member we want you to be here so we designed the gym for a limited membership and invested heavily in top notch equipment normally found only in Division 1 and professional team training facilities. We will teach you the proper way to use the equipment, provide you training programming on our phone app so you will be able to train optimally, and provide tips and incite to help you achieve your fitness, strength, and conditioning goals.
